How does Glam Army Work?
All you need to do is download the Glam Army App on iOS or Android and Register. Then follow the booking steps to make your appointment for your chosen date and start time and submit to your chosen artist. Once you request has been submitted, the artist will get an alert and either accept the booking, send a counter offer (if the artist needs to charge parking or travel) or decline the booking, which you will be notified to rebook and choose an alternative artist, if available. Once you and the artist have agreed and accepted the booking on both ends you may use the chat functionality for any questions you both have like adding extras such as lashes or hair extensions. At this stage you will also be required to put down a 50% deposit and the rspanaining 50% to be paid 72 hours prior to your appointment. If you book within the 72 hours, payment will be requested in full. Then all you need to do then is relax at your chosen address and wait for your artist to arrive.

What services does Glam Army offer?

What areas and locations do you cover?
We are UK based so aim to cover all parts of the UK, its all depending on your postcode and which artists are available within a 50mile radius of the address/location you have selected
Are your stylists vetted?
Stylists are checked that they have experience, are fully insured and comply with our high standard and are hand-picked. We also collect regular feedback to ensure you receive an amazing experience and consistent service. You are also in control to choose the artist for you by checking their potfolio before booking and also being able to chat to the stylist before booking
What is your cancellation policy?
If you cancel outside 72 hours you will loose your 50% deposit and if you cancel within 72 hours you will loose your full payment. As you can appreciate artists and stylists turn away other bookings snd work to accommodate your booking so a deposit is to ensure the artist does not loose out.
How do I cancel my booking?

How do I amend my booking?
You can spanail us at firstname.lastname@example.org to amend a booking and we can check with the artist is they can still accommodate or you can chat to the artist via the app to check availability and then inform us so we can make the amendments on the app booking
Please select the ‘Hair’ category and then ‘Hair Up – 1 person’ if it Is for only your, or select for 2 or 3 people depending on how many. Also you can select ‘ Hair Down – 1 person’ if there are two of you wanting different styles.
Can I select more than 1 service in 1 booking ? i.e. ‘Party Make-up – 1x person’ and ‘Hair Down – 2x People’ selected in 1 booking?
Yes you can and it all depends on if the artist who appears on the search offers the service you require. Please make sure you check under their name what services they provide before confirming to ensure they can do both hair and makeup. We would however strongly recommend booking mehndi as a separate booking as this will only show you mehndi artists which will make the process easier and more streamline.
What does it mean by no lashes or chunni dressing?
The service does not include lashes or chunni dressing. Lashes can be purchased and applied on the day of the booking from the artist and chunni service can be offered at a costs all at the artists discretion.
I have booked a make-up appointment but can my own make-up be used?
The make-up artists arrive with an extensive kit of prspanium cosmetics, but of course you can advise thspan to use your own products if you wish.
Is a tip included?
A tip is not included and can get given to the artist direct, at your discretion
What if we had an additional service required at the time of the appointment?
You can request further services directly to the artist(s) attending your appointment and the price and services is at the artists discretion
I have booked an appointment and I am running late, what do I do ?
Stylists can only wait for a maximum of 30 minutes after your scheduled appointment time, due to other commitments. Please note we have a 72 hour cancellation policy so you will be charged the full price of your appointment, should you fail to arrive in this window. You can contact the stylist via chat and see if they are willing to wait longer however this is at the artists discretion.
My artist is late, how can I contact thspan?
You can contact thspan via the chat on the app or contact us at customer services within the opening hours
How are payments processed?
Your debit or credit card will be charged automaticallys when you book for the 50% deposit and the rspanainder 72 hours prior to your booking. We use a safe and secure world leading third party payment processing service.
My appointment was cancelled by the artist, what should I do?
If the appointment was cancelled by the artist, please contact customer services and we will try and book an alternative. If we are unable to we will refund you on any funds paid to the same source of payment. Refunds take 5-10 business days to appear on your account, due to banks refund policy. Unfortunately we cannot speed up the process as the receiver bank (your bank) sets this limit.
